Sloth

Today I watched TV. I was very lazy, but I did go outside to return the movie I rented last night. It was about the stealing of the Stone of Scone, the Scottish coronation stone. It's a pretty great (true) story that I heard about when I was in Edinburgh. I hadn't known they made a movie, but they did and it's pretty decent, so watch it! (Plus it features Pipin... and Edward too for all you preteenagers + my sister)

Now I shall do something 'productive' this evening.

North American Chocolate Tastes Like S***

I had a chocolate craving and I needed milk, so I got a chocolate bar at the Couche Tard (along with milk). Anyways, it tastes horrible. But I already finished the Milka bar I brought home from France. Should have bought two...

Also, they are putting the roof on the house down the street today. They have a crane on a truck and I watched them lift up the first part (the garage roof). Some guy had to get a stick and scrape the dirt off the bottom when it was up in the air.

PS: There are six tomatoes growing on my plant.

Abandonment

Its been exactly two weeks since I got home and my family has decided to leave me and go to Newfoundland. So I won't see them for two weeks. But they so kindly decided to leave me the dog to play with (he hates walks).

Here is a photo of this afternoon's sudden downpour:

Free Things in Montreal

Jonathan is broke after spending three weeks in Europe with me, so I am trying to think of (almost) free things to do together.

Things That are Really Free
  • International Fireworks (every Saturday)
  • Jazz Fest (until July 12)
  • walking in the Old Port/Mont Royal/etc
  • biking by the Lachine canal

Things You Might Expect to be Free but Aren't

Things That are (Kinda) Cheap

Expect a sequel post or two.
